Program proposals time is now closed! More than 800 proposals were submitted by organisations, movements and networks from all over Europe and some from outside. Now the merging process has started and by the end of the month, these 800 proposals should have come down to around 200. Everyone who has made program proposals will be contacted with a merging proposal. The final program is estimated to be ready in the end of July.

The next European Social Forum (ESF) is being held in Malmö, south of Sweden. More than 20 000 people are expected to participate in the forum. During five days seminars and workshops will be mixed with culture, music, activism and demonstrations.

This working group met (11 January in Brussels 2007, 19 February 2007 in Paris) to collect and synthetise proposals, comments and questions on the ESF process to be discussed in the EPAs.

This document, as decided in the last EPA, will be the base for discussions in our own countries and on the list. It has been made by most of facilitators and charing people during the last meeting in Lisbon. It contains notes on : 1. Assemblies of Social movements Assemblies of Social movements , 2. EPA structure, 3. Networks, 4. Languages and translation, 5. Tools (websites, mailing lists, workspace), 6. Decision process and implementation + a general note to improve the preparation of the ESF event.
