Program The conference will be organised in three sessions: Session 1: The place of services of general interest in the Reform Treaty and the Single Market Review
- Autonomous legal framework of services of general interest?
- Sectorial and horizontal approaches Session 2: Conditions for a successful integration of services of general interest into the single market concept
- Principles that govern services of general interest
- The need to freely define the conditions for services of general interest
- IPPP and in-house solutions as recognition of local/regional self-administration Session 3: Social and health services facing single market and competition law
- What’s next after their exclusion from the services directive?
- Specificities of social services of general interest: how to take them on board in the existing SGEIs frame?
- Health care services within the internal market
