In the meeting it was agreed to have 1 broadly on theme of social movements and privatisation, and the other on war. Each to have 3 speakers from social movements and 4 from political parties. As follows is decision so far: 1. SOCIAL MOVEMENTS AND PRIVATISATION Speakers from social movements: Piero Bernocchi, Pierre Khalfa and a woman speaker from the Greek Social Forum. And 4 other political party speakers 2 from UK, 2 from Europe 2. WAR 3 social movements: 1 from UK; 1 from Spain; 1 other anti-war movement yet to be decided And 4 other political party speakers: 2 UK parties 2 European Facilitators: Petros (Greece) and 1 UK

3. SEMINARS 1. Extra space needed: after explanation of the finances involved in booking new spaces, arranging translation equipment and technicians, and Babels costs, it was agreed to pursue the extra space needed to accommodate the additional seminars agreed and two extra plenaries by rearranging times on Saturday morning so that sessions would run 9 to 11 and 11.30 to 1.30. That is there would be no 3 hour plenary slot on Saturday. 2. Agreed that the British colleagues who are taking forward programme issues would decide on other issues of placing and timetabling. Issues to be raised directly with them. Colleagues present from national delegations indicated some issues requiring clarification and priority at the moment and will liaise further.
